Welcome To Professional Skills Center (PSC)

Professional Skills Center (PSC) is a not-for-profit organization committed to enhancing the employability of Indian youth by equipping them with industry-relevant skills. With a focus on aligning training programs with regional and industrial demands, PSC aims to guide, counsel, and train unemployed youth, preparing them for professional employment.

PSC’s operational model involves identifying, developing, promoting, and supporting a network of institutions that operate in rural India, ensuring accessibility for unemployed youth. The Center collaborates with these institutions and industry partners to design and deliver training programs led by expert faculty and supported by hands-on learning in well-equipped training labs. Through this approach, PSC empowers youth with the skills required to meet industry standards and secure meaningful employment opportunities.

Our Programs

The Professional Skill Programs are the perfect option for 12th pass or graduating students of rural inhabitance to enrich their skills and aspire for local & national employment across the industries.

Current Programs

  • Supporting skill development for music teachers in rural Himachal Pradesh, specifically in Sirmaur, within the premises of Akal Academy School.
  • Facilitating education for underprivileged school children on a need and application basis, ensuring access to quality learning opportunities.
  • Providing full-time education and boarding for underprivileged rural students at Eternal University, Sabo Ki Talwandi, Punjab.

Few of the past programs executed by PSC are as under:

  • Setting up Google IT Lab in rural area in Arunachal Pradesh at a place called ZERO in the premises of Indira Gandhi Technical Management University.
  • Conducting skill development sessions and workshops for rural handicraft workers in Moradabad & associated areas in association with Export Promotion Council of Handicraft.
  • Training and skilling rural handicraft workers for the use of e Commerce to enable them to sell & market their products locally & globally.
